Relaxing Time

On Thursday, John & I came down to his parents' cabin, on one of the farms, in Mt. Pleasant.
We looooooooove it here! It's so peaceful and relaxing. Sherry, John's mom, has been wanting a little 'getaway' cottage for awhile, and last fall when the October issue of Southern Living came out, they featured a quaint cottage in the mountains. Well, Sherry saw the article, loved the house, and I don't think it was a month later that the foundation was being set on the farm. The whole family was SO excited that they were doing this!
And we enjoy it immensely! When we come down, we try to stay about a week at a time, if not longer, if we can..... We don't have any worries here. We are close to John's work, I know the house in Nashville is super clean (& ready for a showing at any moment without me having to do anything), and we are around all of our family down here.
It's our little piece of paradise~

John & I usually come out and sit on the porch every morning and have a cup of coffee together. At the end of the day, we are out on the porch enjoying a glass of wine as the sun goes down.
This is our view from the porch of what we wake up to every morning....

So, if my posts are a little few & far between, this is what we are enjoying without a worry in the world~
